Just started demoing LiveProfessor and I’m now getting the hang of it. I use a Yamaha CL 3 on live gigs and I use Multirack with waves I don’t have the desk at home so I set up my two MacBooks , one running Nuendo ( with live multitracks from live gigs) and the other with LiveProfessor and both connected via Ethernet cable with Dante virtual server running on both. All this works great and I can setup my whole gig with this. Waves works very well and the latency is ok. At first I found it hard to understand how to add cues but now I’ve that figured. I will shortly have a chance to run it live with the CL so I’ll give ye all an update later next week
Ps can you do sidechain stuff with this program ???February 26, 2016 at 16:43 #3447
Used it live for the first time last night and no crashes I found a couple of things that were strange
1 some of the waves meters didn’t work e.g. RCompressor, the input and output signal metering wasn’t active
2 I have some audio cues and the double click thing I don’t like but would prefer the space bar as a way to fire the cues Now when I go into change the keyboard settings and choose the spacebar it doesn’t fire Am I doing something wrong ????
I would like to see away of getting to the chain you want quickly like multirack as you have a drop down box with all the channels in it.
I have to say I like it and would love to see this working for meFebruary 26, 2016 at 21:42 #3448NikolaiKeymaster
1: you mean the meters in liveprofessor, or the meters in the waves gui?
2: did you set the cue list to "Armed" ? button down on the right. (I guess that is not obvious)
3:Do mean the "Hot Plugins" list in multirack ?February 27, 2016 at 21:39 #3449
ya the meters on the waves plugins doesn’t function e.g. the RCompressor
yes I armed and used the spacebar to fire but no joy
I notice when I save the project that some stuff isn’t storing The audio patch didn’t store for me last night so I had to repatch
