Just out of curiosity; has anyone played around with an M1 mac yet?

I have tried on a Mac mini M1
It works fine, using rosetta at the moment.
I have also compiled a working version running native on M1.
The big problem, however, is plugin and sound device compatibility.
Some plugins have been ported to M1, some have not. And you can not mix Intel and M1 in the same app.
Using the native M1 build og LP I was able to run Fabfilter and Apple plugins, (no waves for instance)April 25, 2021 at 17:47 #6418no_user no_userParticipant
I am running an M1 Air with 16GB of Ram with an Behringer X32 during a live performance. I am able to safely run about 5 plugin chains with about 4 Waves V12 plugins per chain.
As I start to add more chains and plugins, I start to get click and pops. The DSP meter is around 25-30% while running at 32 samples. I am assuming this is because of Rosetta translation or is the maximum this CPU can handle. Any suggestions?
Thanks! Loving LP 2 by the way. Very nice job!

What would you recommend for the “Use one thread pr. CPU core” setting on M1?
When checked, I noticed the M1 will start using the efficiency cores exclusively when there is not a lot of signal running through LP.
When unchecked, the DSP goes up, but is more stable when not a lot of signal is running through LP.
