Participant
Steinberg The Grand 3 VST3 makes problems. VST2 works. If you load VST3 the pedal doesn’t work. Also the saved state of the plugin doesn’t get recalled after reopening. The VST3 starts everytime “empty” (without Pianosamples loaded)
win 10, lp2.3.3… VST3 version 3.2.146.0 of The Grand 3 works fine here

ParticipantIzotope RX6 voice denoise works fine, but having the plug in interface open makes all open plug in windows hard to move: when grabbing and moving the plug in windows, the mouse loses “hold” of the window a lot.

ParticipantI installed freemp3_chungVST but all the dll failed. Is there a solution? Or maybe some other mp3 player that works?

ParticipantThe AU versions from McDSP are not seen by scanning. Even if I drop the AU folder in the scanning window it won’t do.
VST3 versions let LP crash if I swab a plugin with an other one.
VST works.

ParticipantVST 2 and VST 3 versions of the Roland XV-5080 and JV-1080. Whe I load these plugins into the project everything works amd plays fine. But this is only until I save the project and load it again. After loading saved project visualy everything is fine BUT these plugins doesn’t play a sound. Interface shows that plugins recieve midi-signals from the controller, the output connections are set as it should be. No other plugins in the project have this problem. In other DAW such as Cubase 10.5 this problem with these plugins doesn’t appear. If somebody know about this problem or have a solution I kindley ask you to let me know. Thank you.
Roland XV-5080 is v. 1.0.2, Roland JV-1080 is v. 1.08, Live Professor 2 version is 2020.1.2.October 20, 2020 at 14:43 #6286October 27, 2020 at 07:02 #6292Mosaik_Ulm

ParticipantHi Nikolai,
I have an issue with the plugins from Slate Digital not showing in the plugin manager in LP (2020.2)
In LP 2020.1 a couple of them shows up, in the latest version only one plugin shows.
Any ideas what the issue is?Kind regards

ParticipantHi Nikolai,

ParticipantI’ve demoed the ERA5 Bundle but the Voice Leveler is not working.
The answer from the support:
The problem here is your plug-in host. Live Professor doesn’t report some specific properties the plug-in expects (for example when playback is active, etc). Hence the plug-in is always “inactive” since the host never sends a message that playback is active. It is one of the problems we face with some host and the price we have to pay when we develop intelligent signal processing algorithms. The host has to provide some minimum information to the plug-in so we know when to start/stop adaptation and estimation of several signal properties. Although the VST API clearly specifies this, a lot of hosts don’t implement it and we cannot support them.
