I have uploaded beta versions of the next release, 2.3.4.
It would be great if you could take this for a short spin before it goes official.
In particular, make sure that all your plugins load fine. This because we have updated both the VST code from Steinberg to the latest version and also the hosting framework (Juce).
Also, cue lists have got some changes, so it would be good if you could take those through a test track too.
- Crash with midi only plugins
- Added support for MP3 and FLAC in Cue Lists
- Fixed potential crash with plugin snapshots recalled from Cue Lists
- Issues with audio playback in cues, fade times, wait times etc.
- Minor UI changes in cue lists.
- Potential crash when closing plugin UI window
- Global Snapshots in cues ignores ISO settings while fading
- “Stop All” command now stops all waits, fades and audio cues
- An issue with recalling workspaces in global snapshots
- Possible to use hardware encoders that send “relative midi events”
- Updated all plugin hosting frameworks.
You should be able to run this version along with your current, so no need to uninstall the one you use now.

VirtualKeyboard is working again. I also did a quick test of all my plugs on windows 10. Diva, Repro, Garritan CFX, VB3-II and all NI plugs are working.March 5, 2019 at 13:23 #5711

hi Nikolaî do you stop developing the win32bit version or it’s just for this beta?

Same here – I’m stuck using the 32 bit version because most of the plugins I’m using are 32-bit only. Unfortunately there are no alternatives, except for bridging, which I’d rather not do. I haven’t tested this beta because I’d have to bridge everything just to try it (and I don’t have jBridge).
Please don’t drop the 32 bit support. It would make my life a lot more complicated, especially since LP has been a savior to me.March 14, 2019 at 04:07 #5721huubParticipant
This beta does solve the graphical issue I had with the Izotope plug ins.
This version does still have, on my system, the strange mouse drag behaviour:
when I only have a fabfilter plug in, I can grab the plug in window and drag it any way I like, no problem.
When I open the Izotope RX de-esser window, I have to slowly and carefully drag the plug in window, otherwise the mouse looses the plug in window.
With the Izotope RX de-esser window open, the fabfilter window becomes hard to move as well.
This is not specific to these 2 plug ins, just an example. Some plugis behave fine, some don’t.
Would it be helpful if I make a list of plugins for you?
