Patch Change to Snapshot

Bill not sure I understand what you mean by patch change messages directly to plugin snapshot? could you please explain a bit more?
Are you talking about using a midi message to recall a plugin snapshot ?

Ah, in that case it either has to done with a global snapshot with the filter set up right, or a cue with a plugin snapshot-action and a patch-action.

Yes, that can be done using the cue lists:

– Create a cue list
– Drag the plugin snapshot on to the cue list, this creates a cue that recalls this snapshot.
– Now set up a trigger to fire this individual cue:
– Click on the cogwheel in the cue list, and select the input device of the controller.
– On the cue-group that fires the plugin snapshot, select “Trigger by midi”, and click on learn and then send your midi command.

– Drag in your other snapshots to new cues, and assign midi messages to them.

At first this might seem over complicated, as all you really want is to assign a program change message to the plugin snapshot. But keep in mind that this would quickly become very limited if you for instance wanted to change two plugins at the same time. Using the cue list you can trigger any number of different actions in the same cue/midi message.

Also as a side note, I had some reports on Omnisphere misbehaving, I would be grateful if you could report back on issues with this plugin.
