Hi There, new time user of Live Professor I am still learning the interface and trying to get a session up and running whilst on tour. I am trying to insert Waves Tune Real time on a vocal channel on an Allen and heath D-live and finding issues with a dry signal coming through Live Professor ontop of the wet signal on Waves tune with the correction set to 100%. The aim is to have 100% autotuned signal come from the plug for the fast tuning effect.
Allen & Heath D-Live C1500 < Waves V3 Card < Sound-Grid Studio < Live Professor < Chain < In/Out through Waves card via channel insert .
I can hear the Auto-Tune working perfectly but I can also hear the audio hitting the chain before the plugin aswell as the output of the plug.
Sorry if this is a simple fix or if I am missing something just trying to get this up and running as soon as possible. I tried running SoundToys Alterboy and the same thing happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated.September 7, 2018 at 08:45 #5440NikolaiKeymaster
Usually, this is caused by some sound card setting.
What happens if you click on the Audio Mute button (speaker symbol on the chain). The channel should then go completely silent.
Also if you disconnect audio input of the chain the signal should be silent.
The last thing I can think of is that you have, by accident, routed the input directly to the output.
Since signals can be split and summed, it would be possible to do this and make the direct signal pass through. Check the audio patch to rule this out.
