First you add it out side a chain, so Plugins menu (in menu bar).
Then you just route audio to it like any other plugin. (Wire view is probably best) The 12 channels are stereo, so you route to 1/2, 3/4, 5/6 and so on.
Then you route output 1/2 (master) to the hardware output (or to a plugin/chain if you want)November 30, 2018 at 18:02 #5600mxbParticipant
A mixer view in LP2 would be very awesome and very welcome. Since LP2 doesn’t allow feedback loops in routing, it is not possible to have the return channels on the same Miksebord. And, being able to control, say, two or three sends without the need to MacGuyver something with a couple of gain plugins for each channel, would be very workflow enhancing.
One UP for the “mixer view” and the “aux sends” implemented in LP2. Indeed, the impossibility to route feedback loops in LP2 makes it rather tricky to implement mixer-like projects. As far as I’m concerned, I use a loopback function of my fireface 802 to “MacGuyver” the loopback. I have to use TotalMix as an outboard mixer (which is annoying). I’d be interested of your tricks to implement it in LP, just to see if it’s simpler than my method and less audio-interface-dependant.

This mixer works great for everything I need it for. Is there any possibility that we can have a smaller GUI scaled version (like 60% or so) for those without high resolution laptops? I have a machine I’m using it on, and it literally occupies the entire screen 🙂
