    Hey folks!

Getting deeper in to cues, and I’m curious about how hardware controllers are integrated here.

For instance, I’ve got an x32 connected as an osc controller. I’d like to create a “fader,” in the controller setup, “/ch/01/mix/01/level,” and then map that to a fader in mikser, then have a Live Professor cue issue a fade cue which effectively back-maps to hardware. Is there currently a way to do this that I’m missing? It would be *extraordinarily* useful to be able to map things like DCA faders to time-based values!!!

Answered – You can assign plugin parameters to hardware controllers and then use plugin snapshots to achieve this by way of adding a fade time on a plugin snapshot. For my particular setup I’m using Nikolai’s Miksebord without actually passing audio, IE: it’s just acting as a dummy bank of faders within LP. Thanks for the tip Nikolai!!
