I’m using the cuelist to fire and stop audiofiles in Kontakt via midi. For this purpose I have cuegroups containing 2 midi-send-messages each, one note-on and one note-off with the desired wait time.
This worked smoothly until V. 2.1.4 (I don’t have 2.1.5). Since V. 2.2.0 the time runs too slow and adds about 10% of the adjusted time before it fires.
My sytem runs on 44.1 kHz. After using my calculator (44100 + 10% = 48510) the question came up: Does the time probably run on a 48 kHz-reference ignoring the audio device settings?

    Hi

Thank you for spotting this. Not sure how this happened, but the 10%/sample rate is a good guess, except it runs on a timer, not dependent on the audio sample rate. so there has to be some other problem.

I’ll get right on it, are you on mac or pc ?

Ok, so I think I have tracked down the problem.

It has to do with the change we made, as per request in this thread:

    http://audiostrom.com/?topic=zero-latency-cue-list

We changed the resolution of the cue lists, but it turns out that we are now hitting a limit of the resolution of the timers in the OS (windows/mac)

So I need to re-think this a bit to get better resolution, and improve the latency.

    I’ll keep you posted

    Hi

Could you please try the new version linked in this post?

It should improve the precision of the cue lists. It is actually a pretty big change internally so please test it well.

I gave it some hard testing last night and feels it works fine though.
