    Hi,
There was an unpleasant situation in the logic of global snapshots:
When adding a plug-in into a single chain, you have to update all global snapshots of all the chains. The plug-in that is added automatically becomes active for all chains.
    It’s terribly infuriating.

… In this case, snapshot filters are configured only for their own chains.

    And more less significant troubles:
    1. The list of plug-ins is not ordered alphabetically.
    2. When saving a project, the position of the global snapshots list window is not saved.
    3. In Wire mode, you can not rename plugins added outside of chains.

    Hi

When adding a plug-in into a single chain, you have to update all global snapshots of all the chains

I’m not totally sure what you mean, but if you have a Global Snapshot, then add a new plugin to a chain, this new plugin will be set to bypass when recalling the old snapshot.
This is because the snapshot should recall like it was saved. I added this as a safety, otherwise, the results might get unpredictable.

… In this case, snapshot filters are configured only for their own chains.

    Sorry, could you explain this?

    1. The list of plug-ins is not ordered alphabetically.

    What list of plugins?

    2. When saving a project, the position of the global snapshots list window is not saved.

Sorry, not able to reproduce this, where are you putting it, floating, or docked?

    3. In Wire mode, you can not rename plugins added outside of chains.

Hmm, seems you can, but that the name is not refreshed in the wire view until clicked. Will fix

    Hi Nikolai
Very strange is the new version of the Forum. Could not attach the video to the message. I sent you 2 videos in the e-mail.

    Hi

Yes, this new layout is a bit confusing. I guess we need to tune it.

    Looked at the Videos,

The first one, the plugins are not ordered correctly in the Filter window.

Also, there is some strangeness with the new plugins. They are marked “Not included” that means they are not saved in the snapshot.
I will have a look at this. But do you not agree, that they should be marked somehow, as the snapshot you are editing the filter for does not have any information on this new plugin?

the part with the Snapshot window size is OK, I will fix.

When a new plugin is added to the chain, then in this chain it should be seen as ”not included” . It is right.
But, due to the fact that this plugin is visible as “not included” and in snapshots related to other chains, you have to do an update of the entire all list of global snapshots.
As far as I understand the logic of global snapshots, deleting and adding plug-ins from one chain will require updating snapshots that relate ONLY to this thread. At me the filter is adjusted only on one chain! It seems to me, in other chains the new plugin should appear in the list simply as “not selected” and do not require updating snapshots of other chains. Is not that so?

    Hi Nikolai,
Did you manage to find the cause of the bags? When do I expect a new build of the version for testing?

    Andrey.

    Hi Nikolai,
We have been working on the test version you sent a few days already. While everything is working fine. With those changes that you made to work much more pleasant.
There is only one suggestion – when you turn off the entire chain in the filter settings, all plug-ins entering this chain should be turned off.
( In the example in the screenshot, I turned off the Ch_Loop chain. After it is turned off, the plug-ins automatically enter into it )

    Andrey.

    Another two glitches:

    1) https://yadi.sk/i/fUNltd8O3YJSJj
    2) When you try to replace the plug-in in Wire mode, the LP will crashed.
